Student Inside Canada To Study

To receive an application packet, you must complete several questions about yourself at the Canada citizenship and immigration website. To study in Canada, you will need to obtain a Canadian Study Permit, which acts like a Canadian Student Visa for the length of your stay. International students studying in Canada may apply for Canadian permanent residence while studying in Canada or once they have completed their studies, provided that they meet the requirements of the Canadian immigration program they are applying to. Your study permit allows you to study in Canada, but you also may need a Visitor Visa (temporary resident visa) or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Canada.

As of June 15, 2021, you may now pay in advance for a student direct stream (SDS) application, as long as you begin the first year of your studies in September 2021.
